ROYAL KING coaxed from the gate, chased three wide coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, continued three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive wearing down the leader to take command a sixteenth from home, then inched away to the finish to prevail. SOLO IN PARIS got bumped at the start by DUNEDIN CAUSEWAY due to pressure from UNSWAYED, chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, continued just off the inside into upper stretch and was up for the place honors in the final jumps. MUAZARAH got bumped at the break by MAJESTIC ARC, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside, got set down taking the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared a sixteenth out and then got nailed at the finish for the place honors. UNSWAYED broke out at the start bumping DUNEDIN CAUSEWAY into SOLO IN PARIS, chased along the inside and then just off the inside under coaxing from the three-eighths, swung four wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. MAJESTIC ARC broke out at the start bumping MUAZARAH, chased five then four wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung six wide into upper stretch and offered no response. BOOM BOOM THUNDER coaxed from the start, chased four then three wide coming under coaxing three furlongs out, went seven wide into upper stretch, weakened, then got pulled up after the finish and was subsequently transported off the course via equine ambulance. DUNEDIN CAUSEWAY bobbled at the break and was bumped by UNSWAYED into SOLO IN PARIS, chased sluggishly growing detached at the tail of the field three then two wide, went four to five wide into upper stretch well behind and trailed.
