Footnotes
GRAND JOB pressed the pace on the inside of a foe, took the lead with five furlongs to run, controlled the action in the two path on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, spun into the stretch in the three path, kicked clear at the three-sixteenths pole, drew off under a drive until the sixteenth-pole then was eased up while much the best. SHOP LIFTING bumped with rivals on both sides at the start then was taken up some when the rider fell back in the saddle, was urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the five to six path and earned the place while no match for the winner. THE TACO LADY broke out and bumped with a foe then was taken up lightly with a grab of the left-rein, steadied briefly off heels early, was urged along at the rear, saved ground on the turn and improved position for the show. FASHION VICTIM settled off the pace, brushed with a foe while moving from the two path to the three path outside the three-eighths pole, spun into the stretch in the four path, chased the winner into the final furlong and weakened. FUNDAMENTALLY broke out and bumped with a rival, chased the pace, raced in the three path on the turn and tired. CITATIONAL tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the four then five path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the six path and capitulated. BUNDCHEN bumped with a rival at the start, angled out leaving the chute, was urged along towards the rear, moved from the four path to the six path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the seven path and failed to threaten. NO TRICKS bumped with a rival at the start, showed speed and led early, lost the advantage with five furlongs to run then pressed on the outside, vied in the three to four path on the turn, brushed with a foe in the process, dropped back quickly late on that bend and retreated.
