NEXT ON STAGE went four then three wide on the first turn, was rated just off the pace, came under encouragement in the three path on the far turn, turned into upper stretch in the five path then moved further out, dropped in inside the furlong marker, chased into the final sixteenth and was out-kicked while able to get the show.
