DEREK'S LAW was well placed just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, moved to the two path while asked outside the quarter-pole, rallied to the lead in upper stretch, responded well in the final furlong and prevailed under strong urging. SHADOW SURGE went to the front then showed the way, vied near the inside on the turn, was asked coming to the quarter-pole, lost the advantage to the winner in upper stretch, fought on inside that foe in the final furlong but missed while clear for the place. SPIRIT DRAGON tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the three path on the turn, pursued the leader under a drive into the the final furlong and was outfinished while clear for the show. TAPWRITS TEMPER settled on the outside, was roused in the four path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the five path then came a bit further out and weakened. PRINCE OF DANCE broke out at the start, was urged along off the pace, chased while moving from the rail to the two path on the turn, remained on his inside lead in the stretch and tired. DETAIL ORIENTED bumped with a foe at the start, dropped back under urging while climbing, traveled around the turn in the four path, spun into the stretch in the five path and failed to threaten. MAJESTIC ARC bumped with a rival at the start and was off a step slow, settled at the rear, went around the turn in the two path and was no factor.
