Footnotes
RAGAZZO DIABOLICO stumbled shortly after the start, showed the way down the backstretch, vied in the two path while inside of a foe on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, shook clear outside the furlong marker and drew off under strong urging. BRACA settled off the pace, dropped back from the five-eighths pole into the turn, was urged along in the two path on that bend, moved under a left-handed crop in the vicinity of the furlong marker and got up for the place late. BIG EGO broke a half-step slow then was hustled, bumped with a foe outside the five-eighths pole, moved up to press the pace on the outside, vied in the three path on the turn, battled outside the winner under a drive in upper stretch, shortened stride approaching the furlong marker and tired then lost the place late but was clear for the show. FELINE TREASURE bumped with a foe outside the five-eighths pole, chased the pace on the outside then in the four path on the turn and capitulated. MAXIMUS MONSTER was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, moved out outside the five-eighths pole, dropped from the five path to the three path early on the turn, continued in the three path into the stretch and failed to respond. TAKE THE GOLD was well placed just off the pace, passed the half-mile pole under urging, chased inside on the turn and had nothing left. IRISH TIDES was loaded without the rider then taken up sharply at the start, spotted the front a few lengths, moved out early then was urged along on the outside, dropped from the six path to the five path early on the turn, continued in the five path into the stretch and was no factor.
