VALENZAN DAY moved in while hustled to the front, showed the way down the backstretch, was asked while inside on the turn, was put to the crop near the quarter-pole, fought with two foes into the final furlong, battled with the runner-up into the final sixteenth and proved best. CUMBERLAND BLUES was urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the five path, gained to make an outside bid in upper stretch, battled on even terms for the advantage while remaining on his inside lead into the final furlong, drifted out on the inside lead around the sixteenth-pole and was outfinished while able to get the place. SKI COUNTRY moved up with six furlongs to run then stalked the pace on the outside, was given his cue in the two path on the turn, battled with two opponents under a drive into the final furlong and was out-kicked while able to get the show. MR. SWAGGER settled off the pace, was urged along late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the two path, was driven into upper stretch in the four path and lacked the needed kick while able to get the last spot in the superfecta. COMMANDPERFORMANCE dropped back at the start, was urged along towards the rear, moved from the four path to the three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. I AM THE LAW stumbled at the start but broke with the field, settled off the pace, was urged along in the three then four path on the turn, came into upper stretch in the six path and failed to threaten. DADDY KNOWS was hustled from the gate then taken under tight restraint early, moved out then advanced on the outside with five furlongs to run, lugged out in the four path on the turn, floated into the seven path entering the stretch and had nothing left. JEMOGRAPHY angled in then was well placed just off the pace, chased in the two path on the turn and came up empty. CO CONSPIRATOR settled near the back, dropped to the rear late on the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, came out into upper stretch then drifted in and was no factor.
