Footnotes
PRINCESS AMARI found a forward position two wide for the run up the backstretch, was roused about the five sixteenths before shifting out three wide a furlong later, drove past the remaining foes down the stretch under left handed encouragement. DOVES AND HAWKS broke on top to show the way up the backstretch along the inside, came under pressure from NUMEROLOGY around the far turn, came under a drive at the top of the stretch to shake off that rival, but could only yield to the oncoming winner in the final sixteenth. ROYAL VICTORIA settled along the inside not too far behind the pace, was asked around the five sixteenths and tipped out four wide entering the straight, put in a grinding effort to earn the show award. QUEEN PAOLA got bumped around at the start, settled off the pace on the inside, was nudged along through the turn starting at the three eighths, took to the outside turning for home and made some final improvements. NUMEROLOGY tracked the pace from the two path for the run up the backstretch, moved up still in hand to press the pace through the far turn, came under a heavy drive at the top of the stretch but weakened in the final furlong. D'ORO'S GIRL broke a step slow, trailed for most, past faders in the late stages. ZIPLINE got bumped between runners at the start, was rated three wide, lacked a response when called upon. BUBBLE AND SQUEAK raced off the pace in the two path, made a four wide move at the seven sixteenths before taking back to the inside at the top of the lane but came up empty.
