AMBITION chased along the inside coming under a ride near the quarter pole, spun three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive between foes emerging from a quartet of rivals in behind the leader to issue a challenge near the sixteenth marker, took over seventy yards from the finish and inched away late. EXPENSIVE CUT chased along the inside until tipped to the two path near the five-sixteenths and then three wide forcing REGISTER to be off his heels inside that station, spun three wide into upper stretch and rallied to take command three-sixteenths from home, dug in under a drive safe to the eighth pole, came under late threat and was caught seventy yards from the finish, dug in and preserved the place honors on the wire. PEEK chased three to four wide coming under a ride near the quarter pole, swung four wide into upper stretch, ran on through to the finish. APALTA chased just off the inside coming under a ride near the quarter pole, swung three to four wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid. THREE TECHNIQUE three then two wide in pursuit, altered four wide inside the five-sixteenths, went seven wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly. INTERLOCK EMPIRE chased three wide coming under a ride near the quarter pole, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, offered up a bid but flattened out in the late stages. TIZMARKUS showed the way in hand just off the inside coming under urging near the quarter pole, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, yielded the front with three-sixteenths to go and weakened. SANZIO chased four then two wide coming under a ride near the quarter pole, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, weakened. REGISTER three wide in pursuit, got forced to steady off the heels of EXPENSIVE CUT just inside the five-sixteenths pole, faded and went two to three wide into upper stretch, got eased home through to the finish, then walked off under his own power.
