Footnotes
PARADISE VALLEY bobbled at the break and recovered into TWENTY FOUR MAMBA, advanced four then three wide after the break into the turn and tucked three wide applying pressure to the early leader before seizing command seven-sixteenths from home, tucked to the two path three furlongs out, continued just off the inside into upper stretch put to a drive, edged clear under a drive to the eighth pole, held sway to the finish kept busy to the end. BABY YODA coaxed from the gate, chased five then four paths off the inside down the backstretch before heading three wide through the turn, tipped four wide into upper stretch and ran on to chase the winner home clear of the rest. LUNAR MODULE four then three wide in pursuit, came under a ride with five-sixteenths to go, swung four wide into upper stretch, kicked on belatedly to the finish. RUN CLASSIC coaxed from the gate, raced just off the inside and traded bumps and was jostled in tandem with PAIR OF SOCKS vying for a closing down path when TWENTY FOUR MAMBA tucked in front before being clear of the pair of rivals just inside five and a half furlongs to run, established the two path into the turn, came under urging with five-sixteenths to go and then went seven wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. TWENTY FOUR MAMBA got bumped at the start by PARADISE VALLEY, who recovered in from a bobble, crossed to the two path just before establishing the front and without optimal clearance on a pair of rivals and forced both RUN CLASSIC and PAIR OF SOCKS to bump and jostle for a closing down lane while also taking hold briefly off his heels one and then the other, established the front and showed the way briefly under pressure from PARADISE VALLEY to the outside, got headed for command near the seven-sixteenths marker and tucked inside, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and tired. GOLD LUCK coaxed from the gate, was under a firm left grip along the rail when appearing to try to want to get out with seven-sixteenths to go, spun two to three wide into upper stretch and tired. PAIR OF SOCKS raced three paths off the rail early on and was floated in bumping and jostling with RUN CLASSIC before taking brief hold due to pressure from TWENTY FOUR MAMBA tucking over without being clear inside five and a half furlongs to run, continued three wide through the turn before angling eight wide into upper stretch and tired.
