STARTOWNE ROAD was forwardly placed five wide for the run up the backstretch, settled back four wide through the turn, was coaxed along at the three eighths to contest the lead five wide entering the stretch, took charge at the three sixteenths and moved inwards towards the two path, just held off bidders from both sides to secure the victory. INTO THE UNKNOWN vied two wide between rivals in the early stages, shifted along the inside to press the pace at the five sixteenths, moved up two wide between foes to contest the pace again in the upper stretch but yielded at the eighth, made another late run along the inside and was denied at the wire. OKAY ANNIE got bumped by inner foe at the start, raced off the pace between runners, advanced four wide through the turn to contest the lead between opponents at the top of the stretch, found herself behind the leader at the three sixteenths and shifted out three wide late but came up short. LIBERTY'S ADVANCE vied three wide between rivals for the run up the backstretch, claimed sole command at the five sixteenths, shifted towards the inside at the top of the lane but was caught at the three sixteenths, swung out four wide late to no avail. ALL BRIGHT broke slowly and raced off the pace on the inside, took to the outside in the stretch and put in a solid rally late. PROMISE ME AMELODY crossed towards the inside shortly after the start, moved up to contest the lead before the turn, surrendered her position at the half and continued to give chase through the turn, ranged up three wide between runners at the quarter in a last attempt at the pace but came up empty. RUN FLAT took a slight hold early to avoid PROMISE ME AMELODY, trailed for most, kept on under little encouragement to close some ground. OUR SWEET HARPIE broke outward into rival, found a forward position four wide between runners, backed off to sit three wide through the turn, retreated down the lane and was eased across.
