CROCODILEHUNTER tracked the early pace from the inside, went up to dispute the pace along the turn, took command at the quarter pole, kicked clear into the stretch then drew away late while in hand. LEMON MERINGUE stalked the early pace three deep, well placed to the turn, was floated out four to five wide while in pursuit into upper stretch, was no match late for the winner and was a clear second best. HAY MOON allowed to settle while saving ground early, could not impact the top pair into the stretch but ran on and won the nod for the show honors. HAPPY HOUR BOBBY showed speed away from the start and assumed early command, set the pace to the turn while off of the rail, came under pressure into the bend and dueled CROCODILEHUNTER to the quarter marker, lost position then drifted out into upper stretch, weakened in the stretch drive and was outfinished late for the show honors. MAJESTIC CRAKEN off a bit slow to begin, was allowed to settle early, raced two to three wide into upper stretch and did not mount a late response.
