Footnotes
HANDSOME HARRY allowed to settle early on while never far back, raced two wide and between runners nearing the quarter marker, angled to the five path into upper stretch and bid at the furlong marker, dueled MULBERRY STREET to deep stretch and determinedly prevailed in the late stages. MULBERRY STREET settled while saving ground early, angled four wide into upper stretch, bid and confronted HANDSOME HARRY inside of the furlong marker, dueled to deep stretch and just missed for the win, while besting the rest. PALACE KITTEN settled three wide in the early stages, swung six wide for the stretch drive and advanced at mid-stretch, could not keep pace with the top pair into the final sixteenth and got up in time for the show honors. SPEIGHTY WAR chased the early pace from the inside, ran in pursuit into the stretch, yielded in the final sixteenth and was outfinished late for the show. TOM BOMBADIL hustled away from the start, showed good early speed and set the pace to the turn while off of the rail, came under pressure into the stretch, was overtaken at the furlong pole then faded in the final sixteenth. MASTER OF DISGUISE chased the early pace two then three wide, bid and vied for the lead at the furlong grounds, could not keep pace into the final sixteenth and weakened late.
