MELANIA T rated nicely of of the early pace, was well placed while saving ground up the backstretch, saved ground to the second turn then angled three to four wide into upper stretch, chased the leading pair into the final furlong, surged in deep stretch and held late for the win. MIRACLE MINDED tracked the early pace while saving ground, shifted to the two path along the backstretch then bid into the second turn, dueled PAYTON'S BEAUTY into the stretch, gamely fought on past the furlong marker, took a narrow lead in deep stretch then was caught in the final strides by the oncoming winner and held safely for the place. PAYTON'S BEAUTY vied for the early lead, assumed command into the first turn then controlled the pace into the backstretch, met the bid of MIRACLE MINDED at the quarter marker, dueled that runner into the stretch then battled past the furlong marker, yielded in deep stretch and held late for third. LA CANONICA was unhurried to the first turn, saved all of the ground to the far turn then angled four to five wide into upper stretch, could not find the needed late response and was outkicked in deep stretch. RAETASTIC settled off of the early pace then checked in tight quarters along the first turn, tracked the pace three then two wide into the backstretch, chased three wide to the quarter marker, dove inside into upper stretch then did not rally late. KENTUCKY STARLET floated a bit wide nearing the first turn, tucked in and settled into the backstretch run, chased two wide to the quarter marker then lacked the needed response in the stretch. BANGO GAL close up away from the start, took back and tracked the pace two wide to the backstretch, asked for run three to four wide into the far turn, could not find a response at the quarter marker and gave way in the stretch. ZANZORA tracked the early pace two to three wide, came under a ride at the half-mile marker, dropped back along the second turn and came up empty in the stretch drive.
