Footnotes
FURTHER EVIDENCE rallied into the turn, awaited room inside, angled out when clear, was carried out entering the stretch, closed steadily and wore down his rivals to get up at the wire. LEMON MERINGUE pressed the pace, challenged for the lead on the turn, was carried out entering the stretch, dueled to the sixteenth pole, inched away for a short lead and was caught at the wire to just miss. BUTTERMAKER set a pressured pace, swung wide entering the stretch, responded to duel, faltered near the sixteenth pole and settled for show. MAJESTIC CRAKEN was slow early, taken outside, went widest in the drive, offered a mild bid only and failed to menace. BUCKIN AGAIN stalked the pace, swung wide entering the stretch, angled in for the drive, lacked a bid, was not urged and dropped back. DO YOUR JOB bobbled at the start, saved ground while racing in the back, failed to respond and did not threaten.
