Footnotes
IN THE VAULT vied three wide between horses to the turn, assumed command, drew off for a clear lead and was ridden out. BOLD INTENTION broke slowly, rushed up to vie four across, led briefly on the turn, dropped back and was no match for the winner. IT'S A GIRL vied along the rail to the turn, dropped back and gave way. HOUSE WRECKER fell, lost her rider and was transported off the track via an equine ambulance. The stewards' posted an inquiry concerning the stretch run. No change was made.
