Footnotes
LEMON MERINGUE prompted the pace between foes in the two path, was ridden around the turn, floated out to the four path at the top of the lane, kicked on to inch ahead of the inner pacesetter in closing stages, and bumped with that foe as they crossed the wire. FORSAKEN set the pace inside, was roused from the three path into the stretch, dug in gamely going into the final furlong, got edged out late by an outer foe, and bumped with that foe crossing the finish. REAL GOOD MAGIC pressed in the three path, was driven in the four path around the turn, but flattened in the five path down the lane. EIGHTYSIXCHEVY tracked inside, was ridden in the four path around the turn, but faded. BUCKIN AGAIN trailed in the five path, was coaxed along the rail around the turn, but did not threaten. STUCK N SNOW chased in the four path but never menaced.
