MIA BABY stalked the early pace from the outside, then gained command at the head of the lane, having continued pressure by the early leader, SHARP ATTITUDE, down the lane, but prevailing at the wire with a driving finish. SHARP ATTITUDE made the lead early on, racing along the inside, but gave way grudgingly coming into the stretch drive and hung on for a game second. BIRDIE BE GONE was near the leaders early, then dropped back a around the turn, saving ground, offered a bid at the head of the lane but hung a bit late. PETIT JEAN trailed the field away from the gate, offered a middle move around the turn but flattened out in deep stretch. IN THE VAULT broke sharply, then pressed the pace down the backstretch but faded in the turn.
