Footnotes
VAN GINKEL pressed the pace, racing along the rail early, then gained command at the half mile pole and blew them away in late stretch, winning easily. TAP THE KID stalked the pace from the outside, down the backstretch, then rallied in the stretch drive, just getting up for second but was no match for the winner. MORE MONEY MO was mid field early on, racing along the inside, then closed mildly down the lane, just missing second. TARPS STORM trailed the field early, then started a steady gain down the backstretch, but it was too little too late. THE MAN THE MYTH made the lead early but was overtaken at the half, but hung on pressuring the leader until the middle of the far turn and then gave way in the stretch drive. DAWKINS was near the back early, racing evenly throughout and never fired. ROWAN AUGUST showed no early foot away from there, then made a middle move at the half but faded in the far turn. FOLLOW MY HEINEKEN was mid pack during the early going, racing along the inside, but dropped back early.
