Footnotes
COMMISSIONER OSCAR was in contention early, racing along the outside, then closed willingly around the turn, gaining command at the three sixteenths pole and dueling with HIDDEN PROFIT in late stretch to just hang on for the win. HIDDEN PROFIT broke sharp with a brief lead, settled in stalking the pace along the rail, got boxed in around the turn, then rallied between horses to duel with COMMISSIONER OSCAR, near the wire, just missing. CRAFTY KING was unhurried early, racing along the rail, then angled out down the backstretch, rallying to get up for show. MYSTIFIER got off slow, trailing the field, the circled around the outside, closing fast, but it was not enough. SUPER WISE was mid pack early, then angled out around the turn, offering a bid, but it was too little too late. IRISH HEATWAVE was near the back early, but made a steady gain down the backstretch, then flattened out late. JACHA was allowed to settle early, racing along the inside, then offered an early bid down the backstretch and dropped back around the turn. THIRTY SECONDS OUT was hustled to the early lead, then was overtaken at the head of the stretch and faded.
