CLIFF DIVER settled off the pace, rallied into the turn, challenged entering the stretch, dueled for the lead and proved best under strong handling. ANGEL'S MAGIC sprinted clear to set the pace with a long lead, responded when challenged to duel through the stretch and was outfinished in a game effort. EL JOY was slow early, bid along the rail on the turn, angled out for the drive, finished well and was gaining late. TWOKO BAY raced mid pack, swung wide entering the stretch, found his best stride late and was gaining ground. GLENDALE saved ground, bid along the rail on the turn, was in range and lacked the needed late response. SARGE'S SERMON settled off the pace, rallied into the turn, was in range and failed to rally. ARTIE'S ANGEL was slow early, put in a steady effort and failed to menace. FLY NIGHTLY was outrun and not urged late. SWAMPDRAINER was through after a half and not urged late.
