Footnotes
RACQUEL BLUE broke well, dueled outside of a rival up the backstretch and through the turn, was going the best inside the final furlong, and held clear to the wire. RED VOLTA dueled up front, closest to the inside, gave way late, but stayed on for second. DISTORTED LOUV hustled from the break and was up with the leaders in the initial stages, backed off, then moved up through the turn to challenge for the lead late on the turn, loomed in upper stretch but flattened out some racing on the left lead and finished evenly. YE OLE JOKER off slow, was devoid of early speed, moved up through the turn, but was not a threat in the late stages. AMERICAN FAIRYTALE raced in the middle of the pack, was under a full-out dive midway on the turn, and never threatened. MAYWOOD HONOR off slowly, raced well back, and was always outrun. VAQUERA lacked the speed to contest the early pace, settled in the middle of the pack, and faded late.
