Footnotes
DUAL MONARCHY stalked the pace from the four path, took command shortly after the first turn to angle in towards the inside up the backstretch and far turn, started to weaken late but held on. SIR STERLING was the first out of the gate to take the early lead on the inside of the first turn, relinquished the lead shortly after the first turn to press the pace, dropped back in the far turn to make a three wide bid at the top of the stretch to rally for the place award. COASTAL KID pressed the pace from the three path through the first turn, dropped back slightly to be rated behind the pace up the backstretch, loomed along the outside of the far turn to stalk the pace going into the stretch but could not close. TRIPLE PASS was the last out of the gate to trail early, angled out four wide in the stretch to rally late. SECRET POTION settled behind the pace on the inside for the first turn before splitting foes in the two path at the top of the backstretch to press the pace, retreated at the three eighths to trail for the rest.
