Footnotes
TOUR QUEEN stalked the swift leader two deep into the far turn, tested GYPSY REWARD nearing the quarter pole, stayed to task under strong handling, wore inside foe down through the final sixteenth, finished gamely under the wire. GYPSY REWARD bumped at the start, settled off the pace and off the rail into the far turn, quickened split rivals leaving the three eights marker, five deep through the lane, rallied with good energy, just missed. RETIRED KATHY broke sharp, set a swift pace down the back stretch, stifled first attempt from outside rival leaving the quarter pole, fought on inside that one through the final sixteenth, gave in grudgingly in the final jumps. JOCASTA hooped at the start, jostled towards the rear of the field into the first turn, bid four wide from the furlong marker, had no late punch. VIRTUALLY settled inside off the pace into the far turn, saved ground turning into the lane, faded through the stretch. SCENT OF SUCCESS tracked the pace three wide into the second bend, called up five deep from the quarter pole, came up empty late.
