CAROLO RAPIDO settled off of the pace along the inside, swung out to the five path while picking up stride entering upper stretch and rallied to reel in the leader at the wire. EVENING NEWS stalked outside of the leader and from the three path, tugged to the front with eleven sixteenths to go, drew clear before receiving a breather around the far turn, drove clear once more when let out in upper stretch, but got nailed by an outer bidder at the wire. MUCHO MOJO pursued from midpack in the two to three path around the first turn, ranged closer in the four path around the far turn, took aim entering the lane, but flattened out and saved show. OUR DREAM RYE'D tucked around the first turn to lay off of the pace along the inside, moved out to the four path in upper stretch, got outkicked while one paced in the final furlong and missed show. REDFIELD showed the way along the inside early on, got headed by an outer rival with eleven sixteenths to go, chased into and around the far turn then faded. FORGE IN FIRE tracked from the two path, then between horses down teh backstretch, chased further back in the three path around the far turn, got bumped to the seven path entering the lane, then failed to menace. PATROLMAN settled two wide, got floated outwardly and forced to bump an outer rival in the six path entering the lane, then made little impact. CRIMINAL DEFENSE broke a step slow, trailed three wide into the first turn and showed little thereafter.
