WORLD BEATER bobbled at the start, settled off of the inside, ranged into striking distance three deep in traffic through the second turn, split rivals a furlong out, quickened once uncovered and kicked away. VIVALDI settled in hand, tucked in to save ground, moved into contended down the backstretch and into the second turn, got through entering the stretch, tipped out a bit and slipped between foes inside the furlong marker, continued on well but was unable to match strides the the winner. MOON CHANNEL was unhurried into stride, moved up on the outside nearing the three-eighths pole, looped into the stretch six wide and was making up ground. SOME PERFORMANCE settled off of the inside, took closer order three wide through the second turn, shifted out into the stretch, bumped MARINA GAMBA and made room, continued on fairly well but failed to make headway. TOM COLLINS attended the pace along the inside, shifted out to launch his bid entering the stretch, forged a narrow lead a furlong out, but flattened in the drive. PROFOUND set the pressured pace along the inside, disputed the issue to the final furlong and gave in. MIGHTY MIKE broke slow and was never a factor. DEMETRIUS prompted the pace outside through the second turn and faltered. MARINA GAMBA was close up off of the inside, clipped heels near the wire the first time by, recovered quickly and settled three wide, was bumped and floated out entering the stretch and tired. SPILL THE WINE was through early.
