Footnotes
PERUVIAN LUCKY chased along the inside, tipped out nearing the lane, took aim in the five path in upper stretch, gained an advantage reaching the furlong grounds and drew off. BRIGHT LEAF bobbled leaving the gate, tracked four wide, bid three deep turning for home, led in the four path entering the lane but was outkicked by an outer bidder at the furlong grounds. CROSSTOWN SHOOTOUT broke a step slow, vied three to two wide, led narrowly between horses at the five sixteenths pole, but got headed by an outer bidder entering the lane and yielded. SITTIN ON GO was bumped by an inner rival into an outer foe leaving the chute, laid well back along the inside, moved to the three path into the turn, then willingly advanced between rivals in the final furlong. THE QUEENS JULES drifted out and bumped a rival early on, raced forwardly three wide and between horses, pursued from the four path around the turn, floated to the six path into upper stretch and sustained pursuit mildly. EL FRANCO vied along the inside, got headed by a pair of outer rivals with five sixteenths to go and gave way while moving off of the fence. IMPROBABLE STORY was fractious in the starting gate, vied two wide and between horses for a quarter mile, backed off with nine sixteenths to go and steadily faded. BUSINESS MODEL bumped with an outer rival at the start, then was bumped by an inner foe into an outer foe leaving the chute, pursued off of the pace whlie caught in the five path around the turn, fanned out to the seven path into the lane and failed to factor. READY PURSUIT bumped with an inner rival and took back from crowded quarters between horses at the start, raced off of the pace in the three to four path and made little impact. SECRET POCKET took contact from inner rivals early on, raced at the rear in the five path into the turn, was done early, pulled up in midstretch and was transported off of the track in an equine ambulance.
