QUICK SAND showed the way in the two path, drew clear of an outer presser with three furlongs to go, opened up a large advantage nearing the lane, then tired in the final sixteenth yet lasted. IF IF IF broke half a step slow, checked when shying from an inner rival at the nine sixteenths pole, raced off of the pace in the three path, fanned out to the six path into the lane, rallied while lugging in to reach place at the sixteenth pole and was gaining on the clear leader late. SIMONE chased from midpack along the inside, shifted out to the five path and between rivals entering the lane, yet dove inwardly shortly after, rallied willingly up the rail to bid for place at the furlong grounds, then needed more to reach that position while closing in on the leader late. IT AIN'T LIKE THAT was fractious behind the starting gate, gained ground in the three path and between horses while bumping with an outer rival into the turn, sustained progress to bid for place entering the lane, but got outkicked by a rival on either side passing the furlong grounds and held fourth. STARDIALED pursued from midpack in the four path, bumped with an inner rival into the turn before advancing along with that one around the bend, bid for place entering the lane, vied for that position through upper stretch, but was outkicked by between horses passing the furlong grounds and yielded. GOLDEN KEEN chased in the two path and gave way. DIAMOND N DRESS broke slowly, trailed in the two path and improved position. SOUNDSMISCHIEVOUS saved ground well back but to no avail. MAGIC SEEKER broke a beat slow, rushed forward to press outside of the eventual winner and from the three path approaching the turn, but gave way with three furlongs to go and faltered through the lane.
