Footnotes
WORLD BEATER pursued from midpack along the inside, then from the two path around the far turn, tipped to take aim on the top pair from the four path in upper stretch, sustained gradual progress to bid in the final sixteenth and edged past late. KING OF ASHES tracked in the two path, tipped out to the three path at the half mile pole, progressed to bid outside of the new leader and from the four path into the far turn, vied turning for home, forged an advantage entering the lane, led as in the final furlong as an outer rival ranged alongside and was bested by that one late. TOMASELLO pressed two wide, led in the three path as an outer rival challenged into the far turn, vied with that one turning for home, got headed entering the lane, fought on through midstretch, but yielded to the top pair late and was best of the rest. SCIPIO was bumped between horses and clipped an outer rival's heels at the start, pursued from midpack three wide, floated to the four path into the backstretch, progressed along with inner rival into the far turn to be within striking range from the five path around that bend, but stalled progress turning for home, pursued in the six path in upper stretch and chased evenly. EARLY ADOPTER (GB) laid off of the pace two wide, then three wide at the nine sixteenths pole, took the far turn in the four path, pursued in the five path in upper stretch and failed to menace. DISCREET DANCER bobbled slightly and bumped an outer rival at the start, laid off of the pace along the inside, then two wide and between horses with nine sixteenths to go, took the far turn in the three path and failed to factor. CHARLIE'S TO BLAME came inwardly at the start, set the pace along the inside, got headed by an outer presser entering the far turn and caved through the lane. MESERO broke a step slow and was bumped and stepped on by an inner rival at the start, trailed in the two path then was eased through the lane.
