Footnotes
CUE THE DUCKBOATS tracked in the three path and between horses, tugged among foes to press the leader along with an outer foe into the backstretch, vied into the far turn, led before an outer rival offered a challenge approaching the five sixteenths pole, turned away that bidder in upper stretch and held sway under a mild drive. LOBBY RENDEZVOUS broke a beat slow, pulled five wide and outside of foe around the first turn, settled into tracking stride down the backstretch, advanced again to bid outside of the new leader and from the four path nearing the five sixteenths pole, but was turned away in upper stretch and kept on well through the final furlong. MISS AUTHENTIC stalked behind the leaders and near the two path, checked subtly while under a hard hold nearing the backstretch, pursued between horses with a half mile to go, progressed to claim show in the three path while chasing the top pair turning for home,, but lacked further progress and managed show through the final furlong. ORAIA pursued from midpack in the four path and between rivals around the first turn, took the far turn in the two path before tipping back to the four path into the lane and chased one paced. WIN FOR SPEIGHT broke a step slow, settled off of the pace in the two path, pursued in the three path around the far turn then failed to menace between horses. KIMBER SPICE saved ground off of the pace but to no avail. ROYAL SUITE stumbled severely at the start, trailed in the five to three path around the first turn, advanced mildly in the four to five path turning for home, but flattened out without reaching contention. TOOLBELT prompted outside of the leader early on, but bore out to the five path into the first turn, pressed three deep and from the four path into the backstretch, but faded between rivals around the far turn. SUN LIGHTNING set the pace along the inside, gave way to an outer pair approaching the five sixteenths pole, faltered and was eased through the final furlnog.
