SOLID LEFT was brushed by an outer rival leaving the gate, then put in tight quarters among foes shortly after, pursued from midpack in the two path, progressed turning for home after shifting three wide at the three furlong pole, ranged up to bid outside of the leader entering the lane and drove clear. JR'S GIFT was brushed between horses and steadied back when squeezed between rivals soon after the start, trailed along the inside, saved ground and checked while hesitant to slip inside of a rival at the three furlong pole, got through and rallied entering the lane, tipped out in midstretch then gained place from an inner foe late. FARLEY HALL veered inwardly leaving the gate and brushed an inner rival, vied outside of a foe and in the three path around the first turn, moved forward and crossed over to lead along the inside into the backstretch, built a clear margin from an outer chaser into the far turn, but was collared by an outer bidder entering the lane, proved no match in upper stretch, gave way and lost place late. HIGH ENOUGH broke a step slow whilst last away, laid off of the pace along the inside, chased while moving off of the rail around the far turn and failed to menace. PAVED IN GOLD bumped an outer rival soon after the start, vied for the lead with an outer rival while remaining a path off of the inside around the first turn, ceded the front to his outer counterpart entering the backstretch, pressed two wide and along with an outer foe shortly after, but failed to sustain pressure while coming under urging into the far turn, got outkicked by an outer bidder nearing the lane and faded. WHISKEY OR WINE transferred contact from an outer rival to an inner foe soon after the start, raced off of the pace in the three path. BEER WITH ICE was bumped between rivals soon after the start, then got rank between the top pair and steadied back approaching the first turn, recovered to pursued the top pair from the three path, pressed three deep down the backstretch, but faded with a half mile to go, weakened in the four path around the far turn and was done early.
