Footnotes
JOE SHIESTY sped clear early on, maintained a margin into the final sixteenth, got collared by an outer bidder nearing the wire yet lasted. ARREST ME RED pursued from midpack along the inside, rallied inside of rivals into the final furlong, progressed to bid outside of the leader in the closing stages but missed. RUN CARSON stalked closest to the clear leader and from the two path, only managed to chase that one in upper stretch, got outkicked for place by an inner rival leaving the furlong grounds, yet held show thereafter. EPIC RIDE tracked from the three to two path, chased in the three path in upper stretch, stayed on and missed show. CHAMPLIN broke a step slow, trailed along the inside then moved up willingly. CHARCOAL pursued from the three path and between horses, chased in the four path in upper stretch and lacked a bid. BALSA pursued from the four to five path and gave way. ALL JOKES ASIDE broke slowly, raced well back in the three path and got outrun.
