Footnotes
FLEETINGLY rated well back in the two path, advanced four wide with a half mile to go, loomed a danger outside of the top pair and from the four path turning for home, bid entering the lane, assumed command and kicked away shortly after then was geared down in the final sixteenth. MISS PHARAOH pursued from midpack near the inside, got shuffled behind a stopping rival into the far turn, recovered before swinging out to the five path entering the lane, ran on, issued a bid for place while lugging in and brushing a rival in the final furlong, then edged that position passing the sixteenth pole. SNIPSNIPPITYSNIP stalked three wide, pressed with five furlongs to go, sustained pressure two wide while remaining in the three path around the far turn, got outkicked by an outer rival entering upper stretch, vied for place into the final furlong, but was brushed by an outer lugging bidder in the final furlong and got bested. BEAUTIFUL PHARAOH settled near the rear two wide, advanced in the four path around the far turn before fanning to the six to seven path into the lane and rallied willingly. PRETTY TAPIT laid off of the pace two wide, moved three wide and between foes reaching the half mile pole, tracked among rivals around the far turn, then lacked a bid and chased mildly through the lane. RATHER DISTINCT brushed an inner rival as an outer foe crossed over early on, lacked speed along the inside, got subtly held up behind foes into the far turn, pursued two wide and between rivals turning for home, shifted out to the five path in upper stretch and moved up among rivals in the final furlong. MARCINKOWSKI was reluctant to load, laid off of the pace along the inside, surpassed an inner stopping foe at the three furlong pole, then encountered traffic in the final sixteenth and failed to menace. HALSTYN ROSE stalked two wide, vied between horses into the backstretch, led as an outer rival sustained pressure around teh far turn, but proved no match for a wider challenger in upper stretch and weakened. ZELIHA was brushed by an outer foe early on, tracked near the inside, chased around the far turn, lacked a bid and tired. EYES ON ITALY broke a step slow, trailed along the inside, then took the far turn in the four path and made little impact. MOTOWN HONEY pursued from midpack in the three path, yielded position between rivals with a half mile to go and failed to threaten. WRITTENINTHESAND sped clear early on, tugged in the bit around the first turn, vied with an outer pair into the backstretch, but wilted at the three furlong pole and was eased through the lane, then was found to have bled and was transported off of the track via an equine ambulance.
