NATIVE RUNNER broke a beat slow, settled well back near the inside, took the far turn in the three path before shifting out to the six path in upper stretch, rallied to bid outside of the new leader in the final sixteenth and got up in time. ANEGADA settled off of the pace along the inside, then two wide with nine sixteenths to go, crept closer in the two path around the far turn before swinging out to the five path entering the lane, rallied to reel in the leader passing the sixteenth pole, led late but got caught by an outer challenger in the shadow of the wire. MAUI STRONG stalked along the inside, moved two wide and between foes at the half mile pole, ranged up to bid outside of the leader entering the lane, gained an advantage in the process, held sway through midstretch, but was caught by an outer bidder at the sixteenth pole and yielded late. THE WARDEN vied for the lead with an outer rival around the far turn, backed off to stalk with a half mile to go, chased in the two path into the lane but lacked a re-bid. YINZER vied with an inner foe while taking the first turn in the three path, led and crossed over to the inside into the far turn, but got headed by an outer bidder entering the lane and faded. EARNED NOT GIVEN was slow into stride, settled well back along the inside, then two wide around the far turn and failed to factor. SING SING tracked two to three wide, ranged up in hopes of bidding along with an inner rival entering the lane, but flattened out and faded between horses in upper stretch. BARRICADE laid off of the pace in the two to three path, tucked behind foes leaving the nine sixteenths marker and failed to factor. WARRIOR WAYNE checked from between horses nearing the wire for the first time, settled in midpack along the inside but gave way turning for home. PAGODE bumped with an outer rival and was off slow, lacked speed in the three path and made little impact. SPIRIT RAGS was off slowly and bumped with an inner rival at the start, trailed in the two path and got outrun.
