Footnotes
COVERT LAW tracked along the inside, pursued behind the top pair and from the two path in upper stretch, ran on to split those foes entering the final sixteenth and forged an advantage in the shadow of the wire. PINELAND was bumped on both sides at the start, stalked the leader from the two path, bid two wide passing the half mile pole, vied around the far turn, gained an advantage in the three path in upper stretch, dug in between bidders with a sixteenth to go, got bested by his inner challenger and saved place at the wire. DOUBLE NEAT tracked two wide, chased between horses around the far turn, took aim outside of the leaders and from the four path in upper stretch, sustained gradual progress to bid leaving the sixteenth pole but missed place at the wire. ASKARI was slow into stride and allowed to settle at the rear, trailed in the two to three path, advanced between horses in upper stretch, tipped out to the five path in the final furlong and offered a belated kick but ran out of ground to reel in the leading trio. CURLIN'S GESTURE was bumped between horses at the start, laid off of the pace while hung four wide, tucked two wide around the far turn, progressed among foes into the lane, chased in the three to four path into the final furlong and lacked a bid. GAME POINT was forced into an outer rival soon after the start, raced off of the pace two wide and between horses while checking subtly leaving the three quarter pole, saved ground turning for home and failed to threaten. TWO BEERS BY TEN bumped with an outer foe leaving the gate, set a clear pace into the first turn, met an outer challenge passing the half mile marker, vied with that one around the far turn, got headed in upper stretch then faded entering the final sixteenth. GAMBLIN GEORGE bumped with an inner rival while bobbling subtly at the tart, lacked speed along the inside, but slightly shuffled by a rival into the far turn and failed to factor. QUOKKA bobbled slightly and bumped an inner rival leaving the gate, raced off of the pace three wide, fanned to the six path into upper stretch and failed to menace. HOUSE UNITED pursued from midpack two to three wide around the first turn, tracked around the far turn, chased while floating to the five path in upper stretch and yielded between horses. MUSICAL MAESTRO laid off of the pace along the inside, but faded into the far turn and was done early.
