Footnotes
WILL BE dueled for the lead with an outer rival, cleared entering the lane, drew off handily and was put to wraps with a sixteenth to go. DEVILISH DESIRE pursued from the three path, fanned to the four to five path entering the lane and ran on to edge place from an inner pair at the furlong grounds. PURSE THIEF lacked speed along the inside, took the turn in the two to three path, tipped out to the five path in upper stretch, stayed on to reach show in the final sixteenth and held that position. AIR OF DEFIANCE leaned outwardly leaving the gate and checked upon correction, raced at the rear in the four path, tipped out to the six path in midstretch and improved position. CORMAN tracked along the inside, bid for place along the rail at the three sixteenths pole, but got outkicked by an outer rival at the furlong grounds and tired. THREE ECHOES got antsy in the post parade, raced at the rear in the two path and made little impact. BEEZER stumbled at the start, raced off of the pace along the inside, pursued from the two to three path in upper stretch and failed to factor. HIGH PROBABILITY dueled for the lead two wide and outside of the eventual winner, sparred in the three path into the turn, proved no match nearing the lane and weakened between horses while hanging on his left lead. MOTOWN STAR tracked in the three to four path, then faded in the five path entering the lane.
