Footnotes
RELEASE MCCRAKEN stalked along the inside, awaited racing room around the far turn, committed to a rail charge passing the three sixteenths pole, inched forward to bid leaving the furlong grounds and edged past. SANT' ANTIMO set the pace along the inside, clung to an advantage from an outer pair around the far turn, built a margin before moving out to the two path in upper stretch, dug in to resist an inner challenger passing the furlong grounds, but got bested by that one with a sixteenth to go and fended off an outer rival for place late. DADDY JUSTIFY prompted two wide, vied between horses around the far turn, failed to maintain even terms while getting floated to the three path in upper stretch, kept on after getting outkicked by an inner rival nearing midstretch and was denied place late. ETHEREAL ROAD stalked three deep, pressed the top pair into and around the far turn, chased in the four path in upper stretch and tired.
