COMMANDED steady entering the backstretch while ceding the front to an outer pair, tugged while laying close up behind the leader down the backstretch checking passing the five furlong pole, settled into stalking stride into the turn, altered course outside of the leader in upper stretch, sustained a grinding charge and wore down that rival in the closing stages. DARK FURY set the pace along the inside, inched free of an outer presser in upper stretch, maintained a margin from a pursing COMMANDED through midstretch, but was collared by that one in the final sixteenth and gave in. APPEALING ADDIE pursued from midpack in the two path, shifted inwardly in upper stretch, claimed show from an outer pair at the furlong grounds and stayed on. MOMBAYLA raced off of the pace in the three path, floated to the four path in upper stretch and ran on evenly. SWEET BEBSI trailed near the inside, shifted out to the five path in upper stretch and failed to factor. SABRINA pressed two wide, but gave way in the three path in upper stretch and weakened between horses.
