BRILLIANT BERTI tracked from midpack two wide, crept closer in the two to three path around the far turn, took aim in the four path entering the lane, sustained a challenge while getting floated to the six path in upper stretch, forged an advantage reaching midstretch and held well from an inner pair of pursuers late. TAKING CANDY laid off of the pace along the inside, then in the two path around teh far turn, moved between horses in the three path turning for home, ran on among foes into the final furlong, sparred for place with an inner counterpart through the final sixteenth and narrowly prevailed. LAGYNOS was brushed by an outer rival at the start, stalked along the inside, awaited racing room turning for home, moved tow wide and between horses into the lane, ran on to take rail aim in the final furlong, sparred for place through the late stages and missed the bob. MI HERMANO RAMON broke inwardly and brushed a foe leaving the gate, pressed two wide, bid and forged an advantage around the far turn, shifted out to the five path while resisting an outer challenge in upper stretch, but was headed by that bidder at the furlong grounds and yielded between horses before sharing fourth at the wire. FORT WASHINGTON settled off of the pace two wide, then in the three to four path around the far turn before chasing in the five path into upper stretch, tipped out to the seven path in midstretch, stayed on mildly while hanging on his left lead and reached a dead-heat for fourth. HENRO trailed along the inside and got outrun. SEMINOLE CHIEF set the pace along the inside, got headed turning for home and weakened.
