AMBITION brushed with an outer foe at the start, tracked two wide and between horses, awaited racing room while within striking range among foes and behind the leaders turning for home, brushed with an inner rival while taking aim from the four path in upper stretch, bid and kicked clear at the furlong grounds. SARDIS prompted along the inside before backing off to stalk with five furlongs to go, awaited racing room from the two path turning for home, brushed an outer rival while being denied a wider path in upper stretch, remained hemmed in behind foes before altering out at the furlong grounds, ran on to claim place shortly after and saved that from an outer bidder position at the wire. RULE SEVENTY SIX shifted inwardly at the start, settled off of the pace along the inside, then two path with five furlongs to go, swung five wide into the lane and rallied to miss place at the wire. ASTAR tracked three wide, bid in the four path nearing the lane, vied while tucking down to the three path in upper stretch, but got outkicked by an outer bidder reaching the furlong grounds and yielded thereafter. BOURBON SOCIETY stalked four to three wide around the first turn, applied pressure two wide passing the five furlong, vied around the far turn, led briefly as an outer rival issued a challenge nearing the lane, but got headed in upper stretch and faded inside of foes at the furlong grounds. MAJOR LEAGUE saved ground in midpack, gave way around the far turn and failed to factor. KAVANAUGH trailed in the three to four path and made little impact. STREETCAR brushed with an inner foe leaving the gate, led two wide around the first turn, then along the inside before vying with an outer rival around teh far turn, got headed inside of a pair of foes turning for home and caved. THE RIDER OF SARDIS CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST AMBITION ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN UPPER STRETCH, BUT THE OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS.
