Footnotes
SO SANDY stalked two wide, bid outside of the leader approaching the three furlong pole, vied turning for home, led as a wide EXCITE issued a challenge entering upper stretch, shifted out to the five path to brace for that challenge shortly after, took contact from that rival at the furlong grounds before returning the favor upon recovering from the initial collision, then repelled his counterpart and inched clear. EXCITE tracked three wide, pressed within range outside of the top pair around the first turn, bid while drifting out to the six path into the lane, sparred with an inner SO SANDY shorty after, traded blows with that one in midstretch and was turned away in the final furlong. FOUNTAIN LAKE raced off of the pace while climbing subtly in the two path around the first turn, pursued in the three path and between rivals around the far turn, spun into the lane in the five path, forged show in upper stretch, moved inwardly and chased the top pair home. RACING DRIVER veered inwardly, bumped a rival and steadied at the start, raced off of the pace in the three path, came under urging in the four path around the far turn and stayed on mildly. SHOW OF FORCE set the pace along the inside, vied with the bidding eventual winner around the far turn, got headed entering the lane and faded. SHANGRALA ROAD stumbled sharply at the start, trailed near the inside, then in the two to three path around the far turn, moved between horses into the lane and failed to menace. BESTFRIEND ROCKET stalked along the inside, chased in the two path around the far turn and faded.
