Footnotes
EL MAGNIFICO took an awkward stride leaving the chute, vied two wide, led in the three path in upper stretch, drove clear and held sway. GUNNER BAY shied behind the leaders nearing the backstretch, stalked near the inside, tipped out to the four path entering the lane and ran on to be second best. ZAMBEZI bobbled subtly at the start, trailed in the three path, progressed in the four path and between horses nearing the lane, then rallied to reach show in midstretch. CONDEMN was put to tight quarters between foes early on, saved ground in midpack and stayed on to claim fourth at the sixteenth pole. CLASSIC CAR WASH laid off of the pace while hung five wide, fanned out to the eight path into the lane and moved up while hanging on his left lead. LOCO ABARRIO pressed three deep early on, chased the top pair around the turn and yielded after floating to the six path in upper stretch. PRINCETOWN vied for the lead inside of the eventual winner, got headed in upper stretch and weakened between horses. CHASING TIME raced off of the pace two wide and between horses and failed to factor. CHIRINGO pursued four wide, fanned to the seven path into the lane and faded between horses.
