Footnotes
TITLE WORTHY was quick to take the lead and set the pace from off the rail, edged clear by the nine-sixteenths, was asked past the five-sixteenths, opened up in mid-stretch while drifting in then out just a bit, held safe. SARGENT BILKO broke a bit awkwardly, pulled forward inside to a clear third heading into the turn off the leading pair, saved ground on that bend, was asked at the top of the stretch racing in behind the drifting leader, came out a bit with clear sailing but was no match while second best. NEVER A DOUBT chased the winner from outside, was ridden along past the three-eighths, had no late bid. ISSACHAR chased from outside going three to four wide through the turn, failed to menace. RED SUN chased briefly from between foes, dropped back, came out in the stretch, failed to make a bid.
