Footnotes
GREATEST HITS was well-positioned stalking from outside the clear leader racing two to three deep, asked for more near the quarter pole and swiftly moved on the leader to swept to the fore at the top of the stretch, moved clear then held safe from a rallying GETAWAY GIRL, who broke outwardly, gained forward position in pursuit three to four wide, kept on in the lane to close the gap but was second best. LIGHT HALO sped clear to set the pace inside, was overtaken at the top of the stretch, switched outside the new leader in upper stretch, ran on and held show honors. MIDNIGHT YELL exchanged a light bump at the start, settled mid-pack between foes early then racing in the four path on the turn, ran on in the lane. NEW YORK TO PARIS broke outwardly, settled toward the rear tucking in behind runners going two to three wide into and on the turn, angled seven wide past the three-sixteenths, ran on but needed more to threaten. JUS LIKE ALWAYS was forced out at the start, shifted in early and moved forward inside, checked past the half brushing the rail in the process, switched out to go two to three wide between foes on the turn, failed to threaten late. BOURBON O'CLOCK broke outwardly, moved forward chasing from outside mid-division, went four to five wide on the turn, came into upper stretch eight deep, was never near enough to threaten. SECRET LIGHT was forced out a bit at the start, was well back five wide and outside heading into the turn, tucked in three deep biding time, came out seven wide for the drive and passed tired rivals. DREXEL DRIVE broke a step slowly and outward, moved forward but was under a hold between and behind runners early, encouraged along three to four wide on the turn, swung six wide into upper stretch, was carried out in mid-stretch, failed to threaten. SHE'S ICY hopped slightly at the start, briefly chased from inside, retreated. MISS JESSE exchanged minor contact at the start, chased from off the rail then nearer the inside on the turn, dropped back and faded.
