PRINCE OF LIGHT moved forward from between foes to press the leader into the turn, took over outside the five-sixteenths, drifted out leaving the bend, met the bid of an outside challenger while continuing to drift out and re-take command, held. BIRD THE LEGEND broke outwardly, tucked in behind settling off the pace, raced three wide on the turn, swung nine deep leaving that bend, rallied in the stretch shifting in near the sixteenth pole and was gaining late. KID TWIST settled off the early pace, made a swift advance four wide from the five-sixteenths, bid at the top of the stretch while carried out, kept on gamely but could not match strides with the winner and lost place late. FROSTED BULL hesitated at the start and lacked any early speed out of the gate, trailed well back early, was forced to fan ten wide outside rivals while advancing turning into upper stretch, gained on the leaders then evened out. GRAY TAPS chased two to three wide between foes, weakened in the lane. IMPAVIDO was outsprinted early shifting in racing in behind runners heading to the turn, moved out from three to five wide on that bend, came into upper stretch eight deep, failed to menace. ROMANTIC LEAD was forced out a bit at the start, settled off the pace removed from the rail racing in the two to three path into and on the turn, swung seven wide turning for home then altered outside foes twelve deep for room, finished well but was too little too late. COMPRESSED was up close in the very early going then continued to chase from inside, saved ground on the turn, came out three to four deep for the stretch run, failed to menace. LONGSTRIDER broke outwardly then was urged but lacking speed, shifted in racing in behind runners off the pace, saved ground on the turn, came out five wide for the stretch run, failed to menace. COAL FIRED got away alertly with a brief early lead, shifted in and chased going three to four wide into the turn, steadily dropped back on that bend, swung out seven wide into upper stretch, faded. WILD RECRUIT moved soon to the lead from between runners to force the pace, vied inside near the rail on the turn, came up empty. PRINCE J J was forced out at at the start, chased into the turn racing four wide, came up empty.
