Footnotes
TOM CAT TUESDAY tracked along the inside, tipped to bid outside of the top pair entering the lane, sparred and wrestled a narrow advantage at the furlong grounds then edged clear. WOBBEGONG brushed an outer rival at the start, prompted two wide, vied into the turn, led narrowly as an outer rival challenged entering the lane, dueled with that one while getting headed in midstretch and was bested. SKYLER dislodged his rider while behind the gate, set the pace inside of a prompter into the turn, got headed turning for home, yielded to an outer pair in upper stretch and was best of the rest. SAND STREET chased from midpack five to four wide and lacked progress while hanging on his left lead. JINXZI steadied subtly when put to narrow quarters between horses passing the five furlong pole, raced well back along the inside, tipped to the three path turning for home before fanning to the six path entering the lane and improved position. OPEN COURT broke a step slow, got put to tight rail quarters leaving the five furlong pole, lost action and steadied hard, lagged behind in teh four path into the turn, drifted out to the center of the course in upper stretch and surpassed tiring rivals. LOST IN THE SAUCE brushed with an inner rival at the tart, raced off of the pace in the four to two path, moved back to the four path into the lane and failed to menace. MCMUSIC was brushed on both sides at the start, raced off of the pace near the two path and gave way. COLONEL COMPTON stalked three wide and faded between horses entering the lane. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REVIEWING THE INCIDENT NEAR THE FIVE FURLONG POLE RESULTED IN NO CHANGE TO THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
