Footnotes
SHIPMAN was brushed on both sides into cramped quarters between horses after breaking a beat slow, advanced along the inside to track into the turn, tipped outside of the top pair entering the lane, ranged up to bid at the furlong grounds and drove clear. FLOTATION STATION brushed with an inner rival at the start, vied two wide, led into the lane, but was collared by an outer rival at the furlong grounds and proved second best. BEEZER brushed an outer foe leaving the gate, vied for the lead with an outer rival, got headed by that one entering the lane, yielded to the top pair at the furlong grounds, shifted out shortly after and held show. VERTRAUEN leaned out at the start, tracked three wide, chased getting floated four wide into the lane, sustained pursuit thereafter but was denied show. STRING THEORY was floated outwardly at the start, raced off of the pace in the four path and tired.
