MAGNIFICENT RAGS broke a step slow, then bumped with an outer rival while checking between horses shortly after the start, tracked near the two path, then in the three path and between horses into the far turn, shifted out to the five path to take aim outside of the embattled leading pair in upper stretch, sustained gradual progress to bid at the sixteenth pole and edged past. COME TO PAPA stalked three wide, moved to press the leader from the three path into the far turn, bid and dueled in the four path in upper stretch, led narrowly into the final furlong but got caught by an outer bidder in the late stages. LEBOMBO vied two wide, led into the backstretch, felt pressure from an outer rival while remaining in the two path around the far turn, battled with that one in the three path in upper stretch, fought on while through the final furlong but got bested. ICE SHOT laid off of the pace in the three to four path, spun in to the lane in the five path, leaned inwardly while hanging on his left lead, kept on to bid for fourth between horses while brushing with an inner co-bidder at the sixteenth pole, then prevailed for that position. MO TOWN JAZZ trailed while tucking to the inside around the first turn, then two wide around the far turn, stayed on to bid for fourth while brushing with an outer rival at the sixteenth pole, but got outkicked. MY KING AIR laid off of the pace in the two to three path into the backstretch, crept closer in the four path turning for home, floated to the five to six path while flattening out in upper stretch and gave way. BERNIEDOTT vied for the lead inside of a rival around the first turn, failed to sustain vying position with five furlongs to go, then faded around the far turn. GOBEKLI broke slowly, raced off of the pace in the two path, but was done early and eased through the lane.
