ALTERED SHOT was sent to the front, showed the way in the two path while in hand around the turn, drew off under a drive in upper stretch and held sway. DEMI broke slowly, trailed near the inside, shifted out to the seven path in upper stretch, rallied to reach place in the final sixteenth and was gaining on the clear leader belatedly. WE'LL DO IT LIVE was bumped between horses at the start, tracked from the three to two path and between horses, shifted out to the five path in upper stretch, ran on to claim place at the sixteenth pole but got outkicked. ARGAN reared while very fractious in the starting gate and dislodged her rider, was reloaded after a veterinarian's check, prompted the eventual winner from the three path into the turn, chased while proving no match entering the lane, yielded place at the sixteenth pole and saved fourth at the wire. RED HOT JEANIE broke outwardly, stalked along the inside, chased the clearing leader into upper stretch, gave way and missed fourth. PROGENY was bumped by an inner foe at the start, laid well back in the two path, moved to the four path in upper stretch and failed to factor. CALTHA was floated out by an inner foe and bumped an outer rival at the start, saved ground in midpack and gave way. SMART WITH HEART raced off of the pace in the four to three path into the turn, swung out to the eight path into the lane and got outrun. SCOOT ALONG broke outwardly, pursued from the five to four path, then faded once floated to the six path in upper stretch.
