Footnotes
PROTECTIVE stalked the top pair from the three path, bid outside of them entering the lane and drew off under a drive. BRILLIANT MAN stuttered a step at the start and was off slow, trailed along the inside, then near the rear in the three path and between horses around the far turn, shifted five wide into the lane and rallied to be second beset. STRUMMIN pursued from midpack along the inside, lacked a response to urging and yielded turning for home, yet sustained stride while moving out to the four path and between horses in upper stretch, bumped with an inner rival at the three sixteenths pole yet ran on willingly. ARMY HERO was bumped by an inner rival and took back from between horses at the start, laid off of the pace two wide, chased along the inside rounding teh far turn, bumped with an outer foe after moving out to the three path in upper stretch, stayed on mildly to bid for show between horses at the furlong grounds but got outkicked. ONE MOR STORY bumped an outer foe at the start, set the pace as an outer rival applied pressure, vied with that one around the far turn, got headed by a wider challenger entering the lane and gave way. TAUNTING lacked speed in the three to four path, drifted inwardly while traillng in upper stretch and improved position. PUTTING EAGLE was bumped by an inner foe before bumping an outer rival at the start, pressed two wide, vied around the far turn, but got outkicked by an outer bidder entering the lane and weakened. ASK ARTHUR pursued from midpack in the three two to path, got outkicked between horses while getting floated to the four to five path entering upper stretch and failed to factor. EXPRESS LINE tracked in the five to four path around the first turn, then faded in the five to six path turning for home.
