BEUYS (IRE) tracked along the inside, bid inside of the leading pair in upper stretch, dueled with them through the final furlong and prevailed via a tight head-bob. IDRATHERBEBLESSED bumped with an inner rival leaving the gate, set the pace along the inside, shifted out to the two to three path while clinging to advantage between bidders in upper stretch, battled gamely among foes through the late stages but just missed. HIGGINS BOAT pressed two wide, sustained pressure getting floated to the three to four path as an inner rival bid in upper stretch, sparred three deep through the final furlong and narrowly missed. KITODAN saved ground off of the pace, stayed on inside of rivals into deep stretch, but lacked racing room late and prevailed in the photo for fourth. GRAY'S FABLE laid off of the pace two wide, shifted out to the four path entering the backstretch, advanced four wide and outside of foes around the far turn, spun for home in the five path while within striking range of the leaders, but leveled off in midstretch and missed fourth at the wire. COWBOY JUSTICE (GB) stalked two wide and between horses, chased just behind the leaders in upper stretch, but failed to bid before lacking room in the late stages. MENDELSSOHNS MARCH tracked three deep, chased in the four path and between horses in upper stretch, but lacked a bid. QUADRA ISLAND bumped with an outer rival at the start, trailed along the inside, entered the lane in the three path, surpassed an outer rival in the final furlong, shifted out and narrowed the gap on the rest late. MALIBU SPRINGS pursued from midpack in the two path, then the three path into the backstretch, chased between horses passing the five furlong pole, lacked progress in the lane and gave way.
